Answers
Yes. We are fully licensed
and insured. We carry workers compensation as well as liability insurance.
Insurance and license numbers
are available upon request. Beware of unlicensed and uninsured contractors. Who’s fault will it be if something goes wrong at your
house?
Yes! We are a company that
takes pride their work. Our success depends on your satisfaction. We
don’t just send out a crew of people to your house that you never met
with a drawing and some verbal instructions. The owner, Ray, is on every job
making sure it’s laid out and installed the way
it should be.

Will an
automatic sprinkler system water as well as I can by hand?
Yes. A professionally
designed sprinkler system will water better and more efficiently than you would
be able to do by hand. You will be able to control individual lawn and shrub
areas as well as determine what time of day to water, and how many times per
day or week the different areas need water.
Will an
automatic sprinkler system use more water than I am currently using?
It depends on how you
currently water your lawn. Did you take care of it by trying to drag the hose
out to different areas of your property 3-4 times a week and let it run for
hours on end? Then you will probably use less water with a sprinkler system. Or
did you only water a couple of spots you wanted to keep somewhat green a couple
of times a week? Then a sprinkler system will probably use more.
How much will
a complete system cost?
All systems are different.
It’s almost impossible to give a exact number
over the phone. Just because your neighbor has the same size property does not
mean your requirements will be the same. You may have a pool, patio, fence,
garden, different planting area, bigger driveway ect……All of these things could have an
affect on your estimate. It’s always best to schedule an estimate.
IT’S FREE!!
Will the
system be difficult to operate?
Like anything new, there will
be a slight learning curve. We have found the products we use to be very user
friendly. We will instruct you on the proper use as well as supply you with all
required documentation once we complete the installation and make watering
recommendations.
I’m
doing other work at my house, when would be the best time get sprinklers installed?
Normally we will suggest you
do all hardscape first (driveway, walks, patios,
pool, grading ect…).
Sprinklers are installed just before sod or seed once the final grade has been
completed and the planting beds have been formed.
What if I
just want the front or back done?
We could install your system
in any order you like. Let us know what your plans are and we will layout and
size your system properly for future expansion.
I’m
getting an inground pool
installed, what should I do?
Call us. Normally we will
tell you “let them dig”. But before they do, you should shut off
your sprinkler main and timer in case they hit or pull a supply line. Try to make
sure that they leave any pipes they come across exposed or marked. Once the
damage has been done we could come in and reroute or modify your system so that
the unaffected areas of your property could still be watered while you are
completing the construction. Remember, the pool itself is not the only digging required, typically you will need a trench dug from your
house to the pool filter location for electric or gas. Sometimes this trench
does more damage than pool does. If they hit any lines while trenching, call us
before they backfill so we could fix those lines first.
Do I need a
survey for my property before installation?
We will flag out your
property on the day of installation and check the property line with you. If
there is a question, its good to have the survey on
hand.
Once we start your job, we do
nothing else until its finished. We will finish most
jobs, 10 zones or less in the same day. If we do not finish due to weather or
any other reason, we will be back first thing the following morning and stay
until it’s done and you are 100% satisfied.
We will provide 100% coverage
for all areas of the property you would like watered. However, if after the
installation you modify the landscape in such a way that compromises the
effectiveness of system, we may have to make adjustments to the system and charge
accordingly.
Do
I have to be home on day of installation?
We do not normally need
anyone home for the installation. However, we most likely will need access to
your house. If you do not feel comfortable leaving us access we will schedule
your installation on a day that you are home or could arrange to be home.
